Children are welcomed in the September after their 3rd birthday (Age three by August 31st)
This small, half-hour class is filled with imaginative work and a variety of music from nursery rhymes to classical. Children use their own teddy to help with muscle development, playfulness and social development. They are amazed to discover how much they can do with their own arms and legs, not to mention feet, heads, eyes, fingers, toes...
So, by the time they start in Reception they will already know how to…
NOT ONLY
Be able to sit still.
Be able to leave Mummy at the door once settled in after the first week or two.
If shy, will gain in confidence
If full of beans, will be able to channel their energy more positively.
Be able to mix with other children
BUT ALSO
Learn how to point their toes and jump like a bunny.
Wait their turn.
Follow in a line.
Do whole little dances.
Feel like a ballerina.
Come out probably quite exhausted but elated.
Take advantage of this half hour for a well-earned break and sit yourselves comfortably in the Triangle café. You will need to wait in case your child needs the loo (down the corridor).
BEST OF ALL
As an introduction to the school colours and a little formality, your daughter will wear our gorgeous, prettily-frilled LILAC TUTU.
She will also want to wear the tutu to parties, to go shopping, to the grandparents - so worth every penny.
After a year your little dancer will be more than ready for Primary Ballet’s lilac leotard and spangly white skirt.
Email using the Contact Us form by 31st August to book a place.
Early payment of the Registration fee secures the place.
Boys also welcome and happily included.
Terms of ten weeks.
Fees are due termly in advance.
